GNM Course

The Course of studies leading to the award of Diploma in General nursing and Midwifery under the management of Sri Guru Ram Dass charitable Society, fatehgarh Churian shall last for a minimum period of 3 years and is subject to the rules of the Punjab Govt, Punjab Nurses Registration Council and syllabus as per Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Amritsar of students shall be once in a year.

Eligibility For Admission

  Age : The Candidate shall be 17 Years or more and 35 Years or less on 31 Dec of respective Year i.e. as per Govt. of Punjab notification number 2/90/04-6HBill/4469 dt. 11-04-2004. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.

  Minimum Qualification:
       Minimum qualification shall be 12 years of schooling (10+2) or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40 % for SC/ST & OBC).

     Preference shall be given to those who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

      Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM courses (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

       ANM Training i.e. 10+1.5 Years training should also have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination.

      The Candidate should be medically fit.
